Swiss manufacturer of textile and leather interiors for the transport sector Lantal has reported significant improvements at its aviation-related operations in North, Central and South America in 2006.

In its bus and railcar interiors business, the company received large-scale new orders including a contract for seat covers for 1,000 buses operated by Parisian transit authority RATP and an order for 81 complete bus interiors awarded by Berlin transportation company BVG. It also gained important tenders in Switzerland including complete interiors for 35 double-deck railcars for Zürich’s S-Bahn.
