Buckman wins training award

US manufacturer of specialty chemicals Buckman Laboratories has won the 2007 ‘Training Top 125’ award, presented annually by Training magazine. The award, which recognises organisations which excel at human capital development, was presented to Buckman for its sizeable investments in its employees.
In order to select the winners, Training magazine's editorial staff conduct in-depth analysis of qualitative and quantitative elements of the training programmes provides by leading organisations basing its rankings on factors such as financial investment in employee development, the type and scope of training and development programmes provided, the quality of the programmes, and how closely development efforts are linked to business goals and objectives.
