Burberry opens new store in Japan

UK-based luxury goods producer Burberry plans to open a new flagship store in Tokyo, the third to be operated with its licensee partner Sanyo Shokai.

The new store will be situated in Tokyo's premier luxury retail area located in the city's central business district and will cover some 810m2.

Burberry opened its first store in Japan in December 2000.
