TFL presidents retire

20/04/2007

The co-presidents of German leather chemicals company TFL, Dr Heider Krenz and Peter Schaller, have announced that they are to retire. The two, who have led the company since its foundation, joined TFL from Röhm/Stockhausen and Ciba in 1996.

As a result of their decision, TFL has reorganised its management board and Dr Peter Amann, Dr Christian Csaki and Eugen Katzenstein will now share the presidents’ responsibilities in addition to their current functions. All of them have substantial experience in the leather field and have been with the company for many years.

Dr Amann has a PhD in chemistry and has worked in both Europe and Asia; Dr Csaki has a PhD in physics and a commercial degree and worked for Degussa before joining TFL; Mr Katzenstein has a master degree in economics and has worked at several multi-national companies in Europe and Latin America.

TFL employs more than 1,200 employees worldwide.
