Sales increases at Danier Leather

Canadian designer, manufacturer and retailer of high-quality leather and suede clothing and accessories Danier Leather Inc. has posted improved unaudited consolidated financial results for the 13 and 39 weeks ended March 24.
Sales for the third quarter increased 6%, or $2.6 million, to $46.3 million compared with $43.7 million in the equivalent period in the prior year. Net earnings increased $0.8 million to $0.6 million compared with a net loss of $0.2 million.
Year-to-date sales increased 8% to $135.9 million, whilst net earnings improved $4.1 million compared with a net loss of $0.9 million a year earlier.
