Over €50 million in bonuses for Lanxess employees

Employees at Leverkusen-based chemicals group Lanxess are to benefit from the company’s successful 2006 performance. More than €50 million in bonuses will be paid to the company’s employees, of which there are approximately 16,500 around the world, with almost €30 million going to the roughly 8,200 employees based in
“Lanxess’ performance improved further in 2006 and our employees’ enormous commitment played a part in that,” commented industrial relations manager and board member Dr Rainier van Roessel.
The group reported net income of €197 million in 2006.
