The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Oversight has implemented restrictions on meat imports from seven countries, having reportedly discovered salmonella.

Meat imported from France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, the USA, Brazil and Uruguay has been restricted in order to contain any risk of an outbreak.
