US-based developer and manufacturer of integrated software and hardware automation systems for the sewn products and flexible materials industries Gerber Technology has appointed Richard Farb as strategic PDM/PLM account manager. He will be based in New York City reporting to Jonathan Smith, sales manager, PDM/PLM products, North America.

Mr Farb joins the company with more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the apparel industry, including five years as CEO of The Edge, a manufacturer of casual clothing.
