France-based luxury products group LVMH has appointed Didier Drouet as general manager of Emilio Pucci—part of the group’s Fashion and Leather Goods division.

Having started his career at L’Oréal in 1984, Mr Drouet joined Cartier in 1992 where he became director of Italian retail. In 1998 he moved to Salvatore Ferragamo where he was promoted to International director, based in Florence, Italy. In 2003, he joined Alliance Designers where he was general manager of Stéphane Kelian, and then general manager of Poiray.

Catherine Vautrin, chairman and CEO of Emilio Pucci, is leaving the company to pursue other interests.
