Higher sales and earnings at The Buckle

Nebraska-based casual apparel, footwear and accessories retailer The Buckle, Inc. has reported improved sales for its fourth quarter and fiscal year ended February 3.
Net sales for the quarter increased 14.1% to $175 million compared with $153.4 million for the same quarter in 2005. Net sales for the 53-week period increased 5.8% to $530.1 million from $501.1 million for the 52-week period ended
Net income for the year was $55.7 million compared with $51.9 million for the previous year.
