Expo Riva Schuh to launch Middle East event

Expo Centre Sharjah, the exhibitions wing of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), and Riva del Garda FiereCongressi, the Italian-based exhibition and conference centre, have entered in to a strategic partnership to jointly organise the first international trade event dedicated to footwear and leather goods in the Middle East. The agreement was signed by Riva del Garda FiereCongressi’s president Mauro Malfer and SCCI chairman Ahmed Mohammed Al Midfa in Sharjah.

Expo Riva Schuh Middle East will be held at the Expo Centre Sharjah on February 10-12, 2008 and will cover some 2500m² with approximately 200 exhibitors from the global footwear and leather accessories industry.

The 67th Expo Riva Schuh, which was held in January in Trentino, Italy, featured over 1,100 exhibitors, with 731 international exhibitors from 35 countries.
