As part of its strategy to open retail outlets around the globe, one of China’s best known footwear manufacturers, Kangnai, has opened its first shop in Rome, Italy.

In an attempt to establish an international image, Kangnai has already opened stores in other European countries and plans to eventually have 1,000 outlets worldwide.

In order to appeal to the European and higher-end markets, the company now works with Italian footwear designers and imports high-end advanced shoe-making machinery.
