Increased sales at Swank

Massachusetts-based manufacturer of men’s jewellery and leather accessories has reported higher net sales and net income for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31.

Net income for the quarter increased to $9.89 million from $3.48 million for the corresponding quarter in 2005. For the twelve-month period, net income rose significantly to reach $13.99 million, compared with $3.61 million in the prior year.

Net sales increased 21% in the fourth quarter and 22% for the full year, whilst net sales of personal leather goods and accessories increased 46% during the quarter and 26% during the year.
