Equitan launches new Condutex Plus+ elastic anti-static belt

15/02/2007
Italy-based Equitan has launched a new elastic anti-static belt for staking machines, Condutex Plus+.

The new product uses a completely redesigned and upgraded fabric which is said to offer a softer weave and a greater spring action whilst incorporating twice as many carbon yarns thanks to the smaller dimensions of the mesh.

As a result of this, Condutex Plus+ is said to offer improved anti-static properties and be more durable.

The company has also recently introduced the new option of ‘Omega’ geometrical stitching, which, upon request, can be applied to the joints thus increasing resistance to the mechanical stresses caused by pinholes.

Equitan supplies a wide range of belts for various applications from wet-stretching (Microbelt) to belts for staking softer and more delicate leathers (Condutex Gold).
