Chrysler posts best January sales for six years

Chrysler Group has reported a 1% unadjusted sales increase for January, totalling 156,308 units compared with strong January 2006 sales of 155,465 units.
Vice president, Sales and Field Operations, Steven Landry, commented, "Our numbers mark the best January in the last six years and were driven by sales of the all-new Jeep Wrangler and the Jeep Commander.”
The company added a record ten new vehicles to its range in 2006 and plans to launch a further eight models in 2007.
