Coach to open Legacy boutiques

New York-based luxury leathergoods brand Coach, Inc. plans to open its first two Coach Legacy boutiques this autumn in New York and Los Angeles. The concept stores will reflect a new, more intimate store design to showcase an assortment of products including limited edition items that will be unique to these stores.

Chairman and chief executive officer Lew Frankfort commented, "We view these boutiques as laboratories, where we can pilot emerging collections, which represent the next evolution of the brand.”

Merchandise will include handbags, small leathergoods, footwear and outerwear.
