Taiwan Leather Manufacturers’ Committee set up in China

According to the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA), a committee—The Taiwan Leather Manufacturers’ Friendship Committee—has recently been set up by Taiwanese leather manufacturers in order to promote closer relationships with the leather industry and government in China. 

The committee, which held its first meeting in Dongguan, Guangdong, in January, comes under the umbrella of CLIA and, as a result of this, all Taiwanese leather companies wishing to join must first be a member of the Chinese association.
