Oovoo design launches new collection

Handbag designer oovoo has launched its new spring/summer 2007 line including new designs called Shanti, Chico, Flower Basket, Leather Baggy and Bohemia. A blend of Asian and Western influences, oovoo design is an alliance between two businesses owned by women—American Pauline Lewis and Vietnamese designer Le Thi Hong Tu.

The company supports over 600 women in Vietnam, with 120 full-time employees in the southern region of Vietnam and 500 part-time staff in the north of the country who produce the bags that are sold at 500 stores across the USA.
