LERIG 2007 to pinpoint eco-friendly leather production

New themes have been unveiled for the Leather Research and Industry Get-Together 2007 (LERIG), organised by the CLRI and to be held on January 27-29 in Chennai.
The aim of the event is to discuss challenges facing the leather sector and possible solutions to these problems. The key topic for the upcoming meeting is ‘Benign Environmental and Sustainable Technologies (BEST) for the Indian Leather Sector’. Participants will look at issues including eco-friendly leather production, health and safety, solid waste utilisation and the reduction of pollution.
