Casen invests $63.3 million to build leather mall in Changsha

Upholstered furniture, furniture leather and automotive leather manufacturer the Casen Group, located in
Haining, Zhejiang Province, China, has revealed plans to build a large leather superstore in Changsha, the provincial centre of the Hunan province. The company is set to invest Yuan 500 million ($63.3 million) in the venture.

Other large shoe manufacturers such as Aokang and Hongqingting have already moved their production bases to western China and the Casen Group is also planning to extend its operations to western China. CEO Zhu Zhang Jin, said that Changsha would be an ideal city for investment and that the leather mall is  the first phase of the company’s plan to move into western China.
