8.3% revenue increase at Neiman Marcus

US-based luxury goods retailer Neiman Marcus, Inc. has reported increased revenues for December 2006. Total revenues increased by 8.3% from $637 million in December 2005 to $689 million in December 2006. These figures have been adjusted to exclude the revenues of Gurwitch Products, L.L.C. and Kate Spade LLC.

Revenue growth trends were the strongest in the Midwest, Texas and New York City stores. The merchandise categories with the strongest growth in the company’s specialty retail stores segment included designer handbags, women’s couture and evening apparel and shoes.
