US
pork and beef processor Swift & Company recently named Matthew Wineinger as president of Australia Meat Holdings (AMH), its wholly-owned subsidiary, effective November 28. He will report directly to AMH chief executive officer John Keir.

Mr Wineinger joined Swift & Company in January 2005 as vice president and general manager, Retail Sales. In May he was promoted to senior vice president and general manager, Retail Sales and Marketing.

Before joining the company, he was president of Sales, Marketing, and Research and Development at Cargill Meat Solutions.

Swift & Company’s executive vice president in the USA, Kevin Yost, has assumed direct oversight of retail sales and marketing for an interim period pending the naming of Mr Wineinger’s successor.
