Declining demand for upholstery fabrics affects Culp’s results
07/12/2006
Sales of upholstery fabrics declined by 17.4% to $35.5 million for the six-month period ended October 29 at upholstery fabrics and mattress manufacturer Culp, Inc. According to the company, fabric sales were hit by consumer preference for leather and suede covered furniture and higher sales of non-US produced fabrics.
