Payless to introduce new designer collection

Footwear retailer, Payless ShoeSource, has signed a deal with fashion designer Lela Rose to create a line of original footwear and accessory designs. The Lela Rose for Payless collection will be debuted during the New York Fashion Week in February, and will be available exclusively in Payless stores next autumn. The contract also includes a holiday 2007 collection, which is set to be available in November next year. Both seasonal lines are expected to include footwear, handbags and other accessories.
The collection for Payless will be the first footwear collection designed by Lela Rose, who designs ready-to-wear apparel under the Lela Rose label.
