Invisi-Sole receives patent for insoles

14/11/2006

American company Invisi-Sole LLC has received patent approval for its flagship product, a paintable polymer insole that provides added comfort and wearability.

The optically clear product can be painted onto hard-to-reach areas including toe boxes, vamps and sandal straps. Its adhesive qualities allow it to stick to all the usual substrates found in shoe linings: cotton, linen, leather, suede, high-gloss paper and wood. The product can be peeled off and does not damage shoes.

It has also passed all product-safety tests and is non-toxic. The product is also environmentally-friendly and decomposes much more quickly than other similar products.
