Tandy Leather partners with CBP to protect supply chain

27/10/2006

Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. has become a validated partner of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP), a component of Homeland Security, in its programme to protect and secure
America’s global supply chain. The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is the largest government-private sector partnership to emerge since 9/11. Tandy Leather Factory and other C-TPAT partners have been working with CBP to improve security while moving commerce across borders in order to protect America and the global supply chain from acts of terrorism. By participating in this initiative, Tandy Leather Factory will benefit from a more secure supply chain for its suppliers and customers, a reduction in the number of cargo inspections and reduced border wait times.
