Joint ventures for Poland and Pakistan

According to
Poland Counsel General Mr Ireneusz Makles in Karachi, a vast number of investment opportunities exist in Pakistan's textile, leather, furniture, hosiery, construction, food processing, hotel and beverages sectors.

He said that the setting up of small- and medium-sized industries could be done quickly. He added that these joint investments of the two countries would help pave the way for economic development.

Poland’s leather and leather products exports totalled $584 million in 2004 while its imports stood at $986 million.
