Tandy Leather Factory posts 14% September sales increase

Texas-based specialty leather retailer Tandy Leather Factory, Inc. has reported that sales for September were $4.3 million, an increase of 14% from $3.8 million in September 2005. Year-to-date sales were up 10% to $40.4 million compared with $36.7 million for the corresponding period last year.
Retail Leathercraft posted a 32% sales increase for September, with sales totalling $1.8 million compared with $1.4 million in September 2005. Year-to-date sales for Retail Leathercraft were $15.9 million, a 26% increase over sales of $12.6 million for the same period of 2005.
Wholesale Leathercraft posted sales of $2.3 million for September.
