New president and CEO named at Louis Vuitton NA

France-based luxury goods group LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton has appointed Daniel Lalonde as president and chief executive officer of Louis Vuitton North America, effective January 1, 2007. He is currently president and CEO of LVMH Watch & Jewellery NA¾a position he has held since 2002. 

In his new position, Mr Lalonde succeeds Jean-Marc Gallot, who was appointed president, Europe, earlier this year.

LVMH’s Fashion and Leather Goods division includes Louis Vuitton, Celine, Loewe, Kenzo, Givenchy, Thomas Pink, Fendi, Emilio Pucci, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Berluti and StefanoBi.
