Netherlands-based leather chemical producer Stahl recently organised a seminar that was held at the company's headquarters in Mexico and at the facilities of the Research and Technological Assistance of the State of Guanajuato (CIATEG). The event covered new technologies for the production of fashion effects on upholstery leather and other leather goods.

It also included presentations related to footwear and leathergoods. Peter Jessop of Stahl International (Holland) and American upholstery leather specialist Robert Venuto coordinated the event with the collaboration of José Pedroza of Stahl Mexico.
