Between July 21 and early August, Xiamen customs—the key exporting port in Fujian­­—seized three large counterfeit orders and confiscated 34,736 pairs of counterfeit shoes.

Customs officials said that in the past most of the counterfeit shoes had been exported to Arabic and Southeast Asian countries, but that the target destination has now changed to eastern European areas such as the Ukraine.
