Canadian designer, manufacturer, and retailer of leather and suede clothing and accessories Danier Leather Inc. has reported a further decline in sales for the fourth quarter and full year period ended June 24.

Sales for the fourth quarter decreased by 13% while comparable store sales decreased 15%. Year-to-date total sales and comparable store sales decreased 11%.

Net loss during the fourth quarter was C$4.6 million compared with a net loss of C$3.2 million in the fourth quarter last year. The fourth quarter of this year included C$1.4 million in restructuring costs. The fourth quarter of last year included a C$3.1 million litigation provision.
