Italian chemicals company Sacma will present a new competitively-priced non-toxic fixing agent, Fissativo, at ACLE in Shanghai in September, which has been introduced for casein and polyurethane finishing, as a replacement for polyhazerdine.

Sacma serves an exclusive market in the leather finishing products' field, with particular ties to the shoe industry. It manufactures beamhouse, organic/vegetable tanning, retanning, fatliquoring, finishing and auxiliary products.
