Two new members have been appointed to the board of BLC Research (the holding company of BLC Leather Technology Centre Ltd.): Andy Seaward and George Evans. Mr Seaward has worked for footwear company Clarks International for 37 years, holding various roles including manufacturing, development and, for the last 16 years, leather and synthetics buying.

Mr Evans has spent five years at leather company Multimaster Limited, having previously worked at 3M Corporation where he spent 10 years in the Specialty Materials Division. He is involved with product development and evaluation and is responsible for the automotive division.
