Netherlands-based leather chemicals company Smit and Zoon has launched a series of new products.

Synthol UF 737 is a single fatliquor for shoe and bag leather, introduced as a way of simplifying the fatliquoring process. Conventional fatliquoring is often based on three or four fatliquors, whereas Synthol UF 737 is used alone, thus making logistics and handling on the factory floor easier.

Synthol DA 112 is an effective and safe degreasing agent that is completely ecologically friendly. It contains no harmful raw materials, such as NPE (nonylphenol ethoxylate), solvents or AOX (absorbable organic halogen)

Syntan DR 686 is a DCD syntan for soft leather articles, such as shoes, bags and furniture. The product gives a round fullness which improves the belly area in particular and has a strong influence on the grain tightness.

Syntan XF 050 is suitable for soft leather articles, for example shoe nappa and garments, and results in an open and light-weight feel with fluffy fullness. As a result of the dispersing power Syntan XF 050 has a positive effect on the penetration time of the dyestuff and other syntans.
