Denmark sees growth in exports to Eastern Europe

Between January and April, Denmark's exports to Eastern Europe increased by 36% compared with the same period the previous year. Exports to Eastern Europe totalled DKK12.5 billion ($2.1 billion) during this period.

The Danish Trade Council is expecting even more growth in this market in the future and has earmarked Poland as a country with particularly promising potential.

Chemicals, rubber, hides, leather goods and meat are seeing a great deal of growth in the Eastern European markets.
