Flame Seal's global distributor for leather, US-based Atlas Refinery, Inc., has expanded its international reach by way of a global alliance with Germany-based Lanxess. This profoundly affects the marketing of Flame Seal's Leather fire retardant products throughout the United States, Europe, South America and Asia.

With Atlas as the exclusive global distributor for Flame Seal in the Leather Industry, the alliance with Lanxess means that the German chemical company effectively has those same global rights, which means that Flame Seal's leather treatment products are not only promoted and distributed by Atlas Refinery in the US, but also world-wide. This collaboration should open larger markets and provide new opportunities for Atlas, and, as a result, for Flame Seal Products. Atlas and Lanxess are already actively marketing the new product in Europe, as well as in the United States.

Meanwhile, Flame Seal has also developed a new leather fire retardant that is a resin, which contains zero halogens or salts, both of which are present in most traditional leather fire retardant chemicals.
