According to media reports, the UK’s first crocodile farm is to be set up in Cambridgeshire by farmer Andy Johnson. The crocodiles are to be farmed for their meat and, although the market is currently small, Mr Johnson hopes that demand will grow in the coming years.

He has imported eight Nile crocodiles, each around eight feet in length in order to establish the farm.
