US leather outerwear, accessories and apparel retailer Wilsons The Leather Experts Inc. reported sales of $15.6 million for the four weeks ended May 27, compared with $17.2 million for the corresponding period in 2005. Year-to-date sales for the company's stores decreased 11.1% to $90.3 million compared with $101.5 million for the same period last year.

Comparable store sales decreased 9.1% for the four-week period, whilst year-to-date comparable store sales fell 10.5%.
