According to media reports, EU anti-dumping duties on leather footwear manufactured in Vietnam is set to double as of June 2. The duty, which was imposed in April, currently stands at 4.2%, however, according to reports, this will almost double at the beginning of June. Further increases are also planned, with tariffs ultimately set to 16.8%.
