Brazil and Tunisia sign agreement for the component sector

15/05/2006

A bilateral collaboration agreement between Brazil and Tunisia was recently signed by representatives of the Brazilian Association of Manufacturers of Components for Leather, Footwear and Leathergoods (ASSINTECAL) and the Tunisian Leather and Footwear Industry Federation (FNCC).

Tunisia became a priority market for the Brazilian component sector as a result of a trade mission that visited several African countries in 2005.

In addition to supplying components to the Tunisian leather and shoe industry, the agreement includes an information exchange between companies in the two countries.
