US residential furniture producer La-Z-Boy Incorporated has promoted Otis Sawyer to the newly created role of Senior vice president Corporate Operations. Mr Sawyer, who was previously chief information officer, will continue to report to CEO, Kurt Darrow, and will be responsible for Information Technology, Transportation/Logistics and Corporate Fabric Procurement.

With annual sales of approximately $2 billion, the La-Z-Boy Upholstery Group companies include Bauhaus, Centurion, Clayton Marcus, England, La-Z-Boy, and Sam Moore.
