"Leather Flag Pakistan" - a new event showcasing finished leather, leather garments, footwear, gloves, and other associated sectors including machinery, chemicals, accessories, etc., will be held for the first time in September.

The fair will take place at the Fortress Expo Centre in Lahore, Punjab, on September 8-10.

The event is being organised by Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and the Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with the Pakistan Tanners’ Association (PTA), the Pakistan Leather Garment Manufacturers’ & Exporters’ Association (PLGMEA), the Pakistan Footwear Manufacturers’ & Exporters’ Association (PFMA) and the Pakistan Glove Manufacturers’ & Exporters’ Association (PGMEA).

As it will now help in the organisation of this new event, the PFMA has decided to cancel the Juft show 2006 that had been scheduled for June 24-25.
