Antichi Pellettieri posts higher revenues
Italian leathergoods company Antichi Pellettieri—a subsidiary of the Mariella Burani Fashion Group (MBFG) —has reported a substantial increase in revenues for the first quarter, ended March 31.
Consolidated revenues increased 34.6% to €56.5 million on an organic basis (€77.4 million, +84.4% on a pro-forma basis) from the €41.9 million generated in Q1 2005, driven by the group’s principal leather goods handbag and accessory brands Braccialini and Francesco Biasia, and its luxury footwear brand, Baldinini.
Braccialini generated 27.8% of consolidated revenues during the period, reflecting 68.7% growth for the quarter. The growth was primarily driven by demand from foreign markets, particularly the

Revenues generated from handbag and footwear products accounted for 92.7% of total sales, and revenues generated from export markets increased by 43.4 %.
