The African Development Bank (ADB) has reportedly offered a grant to the Kenyan government to the tune of Sh21 million ($296,000) for the refurbishment of the country’s Animal Health and Industry Training Institute’s tannery department in Kabete.

The grant will be used for refurbishing the facility and for renewing outdated machinery, which will be sourced in Britain and Italy.
