Brazil and Tunisia sign footwear agreement

31/03/2006

Representatives from the Tunisian footwear sector have signed an agreement with Brazilian suppliers of raw materials for the shoe industry. The agreement was signed between the Brazilian Association of Shoe and Leather Components Industries (Assintecal) and the Tunisian National Federation of Leather and Shoes (FNCC) and is aimed at improving ties between industries in both countries and increasing sales of Brazilian raw materials into Tunisia.

Talks began in November last year, when the Arab Brazilian Chamber organised a Brazilian mission to Tunisia, which included representatives from Assintecal.
