The Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) opened its doors in
APLF represents two fairs in one: the Materials, Manufacturing and Technology (MMT) show that represents the manufacturing sector of the leather and shoe making industry, and Fashion Access, an event devoted to finished goods.
At MMT buyers will be able to meet with suppliers from over 1,800 companies from 59 countries that will showcase everything from raw hides and skins, through to dyes and chemicals, tanning machinery, shoe making machinery, CAD/CAM software and systems, exotic leathers, upholstery leathers and the latest in synthetic materials.
Fashion Access is hosting some 850 exhibiting companies from 34 countries and regions, over 170 of which are appearing for the first time.
During the fair, there will be six major interactive events – three forums, two seminar programmes and one conference – which will take place before and during APLF. They cover topics of current interest and concern to all those engaged in the international leather and shoe industry.
