Following a highly successful show at the recent India InternationaI Leather Fair (IILF) in Chennai, India, Stahl hosted a series of road shows across India.

The road shows visited major leather producing centres in Jalandhar, Kanpur and Kolkata, all of which were said to have been well-attended. In fact, due to the high level of interest in Kanpur two shows had to be arranged to accommodate visitors and to ensure that each participant was given personal attention.

The road shows showcased a collection of over a hundred leathers, all produced in India at Stahl’s application laboratories in Chennai and its new facilities in Kanpur and Kolkata, inspired by the trend collection developed by the fashion team in Waalwijk, The Netherlands. Much of the display focused on the new wet-end retanning and dying products now available from the Colours and Tanning Products Division as well as on leather finishes and shoe after-care products.
