Tod’s reports 19.6% growth in 2005
Italian luxury goods group Tod’s S.p.A., has reported turnover €503.1 million for 2005, a 19.6% increase compared with 2004.By brand Tod’s sales increased 20.3% to €288.6 million; Hogan rose 23.3% to €126.1 million; Fay improved by 12.3% to €1.68 million; and the other brands increased sales by 13.4% to €503.1 million.
All the group’s product categories posted excellent results in 2005. In particular, revenues from shoes, which represented 62.6% of consolidated turnover as of December 31, which increased by 17.4%. Revenues generated by leather goods and accessories grew by 32%, showing an acceleration in growth in the last quarter of the year and accounting for 22.2% of consolidated turnover—a strong increase in comparison with the 20.1% in the previous year. Finally, apparel revenues grew by 12.2% in 2005 and represented 15% of consolidated sales.
