US women's apparel and accessories brand Sigrid Olsen has signed an agreement in principle with California-based New York Transit, Inc. to manufacture, distribute and market footwear under the Sigrid Olsen brand name. The Sigrid Olsen Footwear Collection will be launched at the FFANY shoe market in June 2006, with its retail debut set for November 2006. The line will include casual, career, and dress footwear.

Len Pesko will take on the role as president of Sigrid Olsen footwear division.
